Privacy notice
KeyPillar AI Ltd is responsible for the personal data used to run Voice Studio. This notice explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a protected password.
- Voice recordings: the consent recordings you make, their transcripts and quality measurements. A voice recording is biometric-like personal data, so we use it only to make the voice you asked for.
- Consent evidence: the statement and code you read, when it was issued and recorded, your browser type, and a keyed fingerprint of your internet address (not the address itself).
- Your work: scripts, saved drafts, settings and the audio you generate.
- Security records: sign-in attempts and an activity log of important account actions.
Why we use it
To provide the service you asked for (our contract with you), to confirm consent and prevent misuse (our legitimate interest in keeping people safe from impersonation), and to meet legal obligations.
Who can access it
Your recordings and audio are private to your account. Our review team listens to consent recordings to confirm consent. Audio is generated on our own voice processors: a copy of your voice recording is kept there while the voice exists, and the working copy of each take is removed once the take is finished. We use service providers to host data and send email; they act on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. Deleting a voice removes its recording; deleting a take removes its audio; deleting your account removes your voices, takes, drafts and activity log. Minimal records that contain no recording may remain where the law requires.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, ask for a copy of it, and object to or restrict some uses. You can download your audio and delete voices, takes or your whole account yourself; for anything else, contact us. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
