Acceptable use policy
Voice Studio exists so people can make voiceovers in their own voice. To keep it safe, you agree not to use it to:
- Clone, imitate or attempt to recreate anyone's voice but your own, including public figures, even with their apparent permission.
- Use playback, another device, or generated audio when recording a consent statement.
- Deceive, defraud or manipulate people, for example by impersonating someone in a call or message.
- Create content that harasses, threatens or sexualises anyone, or that involves children in any harmful way.
- Spread election or public-health misinformation, or create audio meant to be mistaken for a real recording of a real event.
- Break the law, infringe other people's rights, or try to get around the free plan's limits with multiple accounts.
- Probe, overload or attack the service, or try to reach other people's data.
What happens if this policy is broken
We may remove content, refuse or delete voices, suspend or close accounts, and report illegal activity to the authorities.
Reporting misuse
If you believe your voice has been used without your consent, contact us with details and we will investigate promptly.
